Hey guys, USC is taking on the Huskies in game 1 of a two game set back at home tonight. The Trojans haven't faced the Huskies since January 2007 and barely edged the team out for the final position in the Pac-8's last year. They'll be a little shorthanded, missing McLinn, Nijjar, Roth, Caravaggio (for game 1), and Carcich. Frias (not to be mistaken with Farias) will be seeing his first ice time as a Trojan as well as Joe Scialfa. Talk to you on air soon! -Alex

Alex:
The McClanathans are still in Madison enjoying a crazy Freakfest Halloween on State Street at University of Wisconsin. Just tuned in between the 1st and 2nd periods. Is Clark playing tonight?
We'll stay tuned for the rest of the game.

Clark is not in the lineup tonight. I think he'll be dressing tomorrow though. Joe Scialfa is seeing some ice time in his place. -Alex

USC loses 7-5. An embarrassing loss for the Trojans to be frank. For the first ten minutes of this game, UW looked like a cupcake team, untalented, slow, shying away from hits and the puck. USC made them pay, going up 3-0 early. Then USC got complacent, making sloppy passes, trying to deke around the Huskies and not truly respecting their talent. Stefan Sobiek (#77) tried to warn them with a goal late in the first that UW was here. The warning didn't register with USC. They then gave up three more unanswered before USC woke up. It was tied 5-5 entering the third. But Sobiek continued to take over, making USC defenders look foolish 1-1, he scored his 4th goal (the game winner) and assisted on the final goal of the game, finishing with 5 points. USC took outright dumb penalties (Neroni's in front and Frazier's dive) and couldn't find enough quality opportunities on Danny Dugan to get USC back in the game. Ultimately, UW didn't win this game, Sobiek did and USC lost it when they lost focus and treated the Huskies like a pushover when they were up 3-0. Official goal scorers for USC coming soon.

Hi Alex ~ you did another awesome job announcing tonight's game! It was fun for Mark and I to be able to hear you call the game even though we are 1,800 miles away. We will definitely be listening again tomorrow. Take care and Fight On!! Elaine Mc...
