Alex...2 tough goals. one when we had a man down and another right at the end of the period. late scoring like that is a killer. bet we are getting tired on defense!?!?

Thanks Tom, it may be solo for a while until we get a backup consistently. Your son did fine when he wasn't sitting in the sin bin. Thanks for everyone for tuning in! See you tomorrow night! PS The 2nd WSU broadcast should go up tomorrow

For those of you still trying to listen to that second WSU podcast. They've posted a game file up on their site, but it's actually the WSU game from the first night that they have on there. I'm going to get this sorted out... Thanks for the patience. Oh, and tune in at 7:30 (Mountain), 6:30 (Pacific) tonight as USC wraps up its three game Colorado road trip.

Alex:
Just wanted to say thanks for a great broadcasting job under trying conditions. I listened to the whole game including the difficult ending. I talked with my son, Clark McClanathan, after the game and he said Dave F. was going to be OKAY. I hope so. It could have been a much worse result -- I immediately thought of the Buffalo Sabres (I think ?) goaltender Clint Malarchuck (sp?) who severed an artery in the neck many years ago but fortunately received immediate medical help and recovered. I am very proud of the team and the effort of all the members who made the trip. I also enjoyed your between-periods discussion about Clark and his introduction to the team last year. You mentioned Clark's extremely long hair and alluded to his look as that similar to the Pirates of the Caribbean. Did you know that Clark actually appeared throughout the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean (Dead Man's Chest)" [-- the second episode] as one of Jack Sparrows' pirate crew on the Black Pearl and was part of the defense against the Krakken attacks? ... and now you know the "rest of the story" on the hair length. Anyway, thanks for all your efforts on the broadcasts -- I enjoyed them all. GO USC! On to beat the Bruins!!! I'll see you there.

Hey guys, Thanks for posting even though I was completely unable to check anything. Glad everyone heard things ok. Dave Foley is doing fine, his range of motion is limited, but Cindy was able to patch his neck up. He got a lot of love at Hooters during the team's postgame dinner. Matt Buttweiler was filming everything for Cindy as she bandaged it up with a handheld camera he brought along. Wilbur jokingly called him "Speilberg". It was a bad cut that could have been a lot worse. Dave considers himself pretty lucky, it was down to some of the surface muscles underneath the skin in the neck. No hospital trip required though and he should be broadcasting with me this weekend against UCLA. It should be a pretty big party Friday and Saturday nights. Wilbur has requested that, due to the amount of people, we move our broadcast position from our cushy, center ice press box locale down into the corner where Mr. Lewis films. See you then Trojan fans. Fight on, glad you could tune in during this road trip.
